These terms and conditions govern your use of the Empire Frames website and your relationship us. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, then please do not use or register with the Empire Frames website. Please note that to use many of the services provided on this website, you are required to register as an authorised user. By using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

‘We’, ‘us’, ‘Empire Frames’, or ‘the company’ refers to Empire Frames.
‘You’, ‘the registrant’, ‘the customer’, or ‘the user’ means you, an independent third party.
‘The site’, ‘the website’, ‘this site’, or ‘this website’ means this website which is accessible via www.empireframes.co.uk and which is owned and administered by us.
‘Registered details’ are the combination of data stored in the website’s database or other places to identify a user together with any additional user-specific data such as postal address, and other personal details stored for the purposes of processing orders from that user via the website.
‘User’ is the individual seeking to use or using the website.

‘Artwork’ means any work of art - sculpture, collage, painting, drawing, photograph, print - or computer file containing the same, or any other item submitted to us for framing, mounting or other similar treatment.
Registration and Password
To register on this site, you have to be over 18 years of age and you must ensure that the details that you provide are accurate and complete. You agree that you will keep those details accurate and complete at all times.
When you register on the website, you will be asked to create or submit a password. You agree to keep this password confidential and that you will not disclose it to, or share it with, anyone. You are entirely responsible for all activities and orders that occur or are submitted using your registered details, so if you discover or suspect that someone else knows your password you should notify us by contacting us immediately.
If we suspect that there has been, or is likely to be, a breach of security or misuse of the site by you or someone using your registered details, we may require you to change your password or we may suspend your account.
If we believe that you have breached any of these terms and conditions, or are in breach of your obligations under them, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel access to your account for an indefinite period.
Contract with Empire Frames
Once an order is placed on this website, we will send you an email confirming the details of that order and acknowledging its receipt by us. The details of this confirmation email must be checked by you in order to make sure they are correct and a copy should be printed and saved by you for reference purposes. The sending of a confirmation email by us is an acceptance by us of your offer to buy the goods or services specified within it from us, irrespective of whether or not a confirmation email is received by you.
Delivery & Insurance
Our standard delivery charges are variable. We currently only send items for delivery Monday-Friday but if you require a Saturday delivery then please let us know and we will be able to give you a quote (please note that a Saturday delivery will have an additional charge).
Dispatch:
We aim to dispatch your order as quickly as possible. Our standard service normally takes 5 to 7 days from receiving the payment to dispatching your order. If you require your order sooner, please email us and we will try and get the order to you earlier.
Delivery:
All our Deliveries are carried out by approved City Link couriers. It normally takes 1 working day from dispatch for your products to be delivered within UK.
Insurance:
None of our shipments are insured, however we can claim back up to £10 per Kg per delivery. Please ensure that you CHECK your delivery before signing for it.
If you require a greater level of insurance please contact us before the order is shipped and we will advise you of the additional cost.
Returns Policy:
You should keep all packaging and/or artwork as found and notify us within 1 day of the item arriving in damaged condition to be eligible for a full refund or exchange.
Tax and Duties
We are not VAT registered at this time so we will not be charging VAT on any products at present. Any purchase that requires delivery outside of the European Union is exempt from VAT but may be subject to additional charges and duties, the cost of which will be borne by you. We do not accept any responsibility for such charges or taxes.
Trade Descriptions Act
Empire Frames try to ensure that all specifications, pictures and descriptions of the products, goods and services are as accurate as possible. However, please note that the reproduction of the colour of our products may vary from how they appear on screen. We attempt to adhere as accurately as possible to published dimensions or the dimensions specified by you, the customer. However, all dimensions are approximate.
You may not use the site to:
disseminate any unlawful, harassing, libellous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material;
transmit material that encourages conduct that constitutes a criminal offence, results in civil liability or otherwise breaches any relevant laws, regulations or code of practice;
gain unauthorised access to other computer systems;
interfere with any other person's use or enjoyment of the site;
breach any laws concerning the use of public telecommunications networks;
interfere with or disrupt networks or websites connected to the site.
We reserve the right to prevent material from being posted on the site or to remove material already posted on it.
Notwithstanding the above, you, the customer, hereby indemnify Empire Frames against any reasonable dues, fees, commissions, losses, costs, expenses or any other liability arising through a court judgment in relation to:
the reproduction of an image reproduced by us in good faith but which is allegedly the copyright of a third party;
any third party claim that your use of the site is defamatory, offensive or abusive, obscene or pornographic, is illegal or constitutes a breach of any applicable law, regulation or code of practice;
any fines or penalties imposed by any regulatory, advertising or trading body or authority in connection with the use of the site by you.
The rights given to you under this heading specifically exclude the granting of a licence to use any trademark belonging to us.
